POSITION SUMMARY: Performs RT, UT, UTT, MT, PT, and NDT industrial inspections on offshore piping and pressure vessels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in the development and implementation of Non Destructive Evaluation (NDE) applications for use in the field.

• Set up and calibrate equipment.

• Conduct tests using the proper NDT methods and techniques.

• Review, evaluate, and document results.

• Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel.

• When necessary, operate and maintain radiographic equipment.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and safety policies.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Experience with isometric drawings and P&ID’s.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: 1-2 years experience in RT, UT, UTT, MT, PT, or NDT preferred.

Certificates & Licenses: Must posses a valid Louisiana, Texas, or Alabama industrial safety radiation card or proof of a 40 hour radiation safety course. Must have TWIC Card, Safe Gulf and Water survival (HEUT)
