Our client is a global leader power generation offering "state-of-the-art" NDE inspection on turbine, generator and gas turbine components.
The services include automated UT and ET inspection systems, phased array applications, rotor boresonics, nuclear disc inspection, weld inspection, TOFD, Tip Diffraction, etc.
As A Level II Field Technician you must have knowledge related to the inspection of combustion turbine generation components.
You will travel to plant locations and perform NDT inspections and support field inspection activities through the modification of inspection systems and procedures.
Will assist in developing new NDE applications for use in the field, review all incoming resource requests; technical content/verify work scope. Also work closely with the NDE Resource Coordinator with scheduling- ordering equipment /chemicals.
Requirements
Level II in UT and/or ET, and at least two of the following MT, VT, PT.
Associate Degree preferred: Material or NDE
Formal NDE classroom training in UT and/or ET, MT, PT disciplines.
Experience with Omni Scan, TomoScan, Micro-TomoScan, Dynaray, Saphire Plus UT instruments, eddy current array probes, AutoNDE, automated multiaxis scanners a plus.
Minimum of 5 years related experience
Required Travel 70%
