TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is currently seeking a NACE LVL II Inspector with API 510/570 certifications for a local client in the Angleton/Houston, TX area.
TWIC Card is required.
Must be able to pass MVR Background checks as well as Pre-Employment drug and Random drug & alcohol testing.

· Perform NACE inspections per TEAM Industrial Services procedures and best practices in accordance with NACE IWE and IWL along with customer requirements and procedures.
Perform inspections in accordance with API standards on pressure vessel equipment for purposes of recommending and approving repairs or certifying compliance.
Perform inspections in accordance with API standards on piping and fixed equipment for purposes of recommending and approving repairs or certifying compliance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS · Usage of film thickness gages and surface microntemeters.
· Follow and adhere to all TEAM and Client Safety rules and regulations when performing inspections.
· Must be able to interpret and apply all applicable procedures associated with inspection methods per client requests.
· Read and interpret client specifications and drawings.
· Have a general understanding of all NDE inspection methods and applications.
· Must be able to complete computerized reports research code requirements, and file paperwork.
· Filling out job scope descriptions, pre-job planning paperwork and equipment load.
· Candidate will perform internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain the mechanical integrity of the fixed equipment of the refinery.
· Candidate should be detail orientated and be capable of recommending and approving repairs as well as performing visual inspection of completed work.
· Candidate must be familiar with and certified in accordance with the API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspection and API 570 Piping Inspection Codes.
· Must possess ability to assist in scheduling of activities related to inspection.
· Candidate must be proficient with standard computer software such as MS Word and Excel and be able to write detailed inspection and turnaround reports while maintaining an organizational system of files.
· Candidate must be capable of climbing, working at high elevations and working in confined spaces.
· Identifies circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
· Properly uses and completes customer and company job related forms and paperwork.
· Communicates and deals with customers and other parties in such a manner as to benefit the professional reputation of the company. This communication is in person at the plant / job site.
· Learns and abides by Company policies and procedures.
· Completes all required training, including tests, within Company guidelines.
JOB STANDARDS
QUALIFICATIONS
· Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
· Must possess, NACE Level II or Level III certifications;
· Must be able to provide documentation of all Academic and on the job experience hours from previous employers
· Must possess certifications as an API 510 and API 570 Inspector.
· Must have 2 years previous experience as an API 510/570 inspector or Five (5) years experience as a certified Level II NDE Technician.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Field duties require outdoor work in a plant atmosphere;
· Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel;
· Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels;
· Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection;
· May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes;
· May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds;
· Climbing Ladders, working in Confined spaces, pulling equipment up using ropes;
· Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively;
· Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to investigations;
