Moody International is currently seeking a qualified inspector with API 510/570/653 certifications for a full time position in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, area. Position is for local employment and does not pay per diem. To be considered, candidates must have minimum of 3 years API inspection experience along with previous Level II PT, MT, UTT certifications.
The following essential job capabilities are required for consideration: Perform API internal, external, or on-stream inspections (includes ability to climb, work at heights, and in confined spaces); Able to develop technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition including CR, RL, and inspection interval requirements; Provide technical observations and recommendations for maintaining compliance to the Mechanical Integrity requirements and safe operation; Proficient with standard computer software such as MS Word and Excel (UltraPIPE experience is also preferred); Update and maintain a corrosion monitoring system for fixed equipment; Qualified to provide input for welding and application of NDE techniques; Excellent communication and client relations skills; Behavior based attitude and proven safety record (identify circumstances that necessitate use of proper safety procedures and equipment); Experienced with being self sufficient and able to work with limited supervision; Willing to work OT and occasional call outs as necessary.
