S&ME, Inc., an engineering and environmental services firm, is seeking to fill Metals Technician positions in the Nashville, TN Construction Services department. The position will be based full-time on a construction project in Clarksville, TN.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Required
2 years experience
Individual must be able to obtain Level II for UT, PT, MT certifications.
Experience in ASME & AWS codes preferred.
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred
Welding and/or welding inspection experience will be considered in lieu of CWI
Level II in RT or Georgia/Texas Industrial Radiographer card preferred
Position involves report preparation and field work including safely climbing steel structures like buildings, cell phone towers/water tanks to heights in excess of 200.
Experience in the use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems.
