Faculty Position, Nondestructive Testing Program

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Professor of Nondestructive Testing Technology to teach and mentor students in the principles and practical application of NDT methods. This role will prepare students for careers in industrial inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, energy, aerospace, construction, and related technical fields.

The professor will develop and deliver coursework covering topics such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, visual inspection, eddy current testing, weld inspection, safety procedures, codes and standards, equipment use, and inspection documentation.

Responsibilities include classroom instruction, hands-on lab training, curriculum development, student advising, assessment of student performance, and collaboration with industry partners to keep the program aligned with current workforce needs.

Ideal candidates will have professional experience in nondestructive testing, relevant industry certifications, strong communication skills, and a commitment to helping students build practical, job-ready skills.
