Level II X-Ray Technician
Southern Services Inc. is looking for a level II X-Ray Technician for a permanent full-time position to work out of our Clute, TX location.
Start time: ASAP
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Working 4-10’s or 5-8’s with available overtime
Responsibilities
- Perform CR/DR and recommend code compliant repairs
- Perform UTT/PT/MT and produce a report
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Majority of work will be local, but travel may be necessary
Minimum Requirements
- State Carded Radiographer Trainer (3T Preferred)
- Previous certifications as an NDT Level II with documentation of OJT hours
- Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervision and clients
Working Environment
- Outdoor conditions that may include shops, pipelines, and petrochemical plants
- Be physically fit in order to carry equipment up to 55lbs
- Safety equipment will be required to be worn for protection
- Driving to and from job location, with multiple job locations possible within the same day
