Corporate Quality Manager Assistant
Job Description
Support the Corporate Quality Manager in the effort to ensure the highest level of quality is provided to our customers by means of training, certifying, and auditing.
Ideal Candidate:
· 3+ years of quality management related experience
· ASNT Level III certifications in RT, MT, PT, VT, UT, ET (All are not required, but 2-3)
· Experience performing classroom and hands-on training in related methods
· Experience performing field quality audits
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Provide support to Operations when revisions or new procedures are required to attain potential work or satisfy existing customers
· Support trainees with classroom and hands on instruction to ensure a safe transition into field work
· Maintain Level-III qualifications
· Maintain an active list of certified individuals
· Maintain a list of completed trainings and OJT hours
· Support customers with Level-III reviews and training as approved by DTS senior management
· Continue monitoring for Code changes for applicable Codes
· Evaluate the quality of inspections of field personnel through site audits
· Review in-house and field inspection reports for quality and accuracy
· Participate monthly quality team meetings and maintain audit findings / corrective actions
· Support the maintenance, calibration and tracking of equipment
· Share lessons learned as acquired by white papers, customer interaction, or case studies involving quality issues or new techniques
· Attend webinars or in person meetings to continue education when approved by senior management
· Provide a weekly update of activities.
Additional duties
· Be a proponent of general company safety while performing in-house or field audits
· Provide quality related interaction with customers when appropriate
· Assist the Site RSO and Operations manager with vehicle repairs, gathering equipment, shipping equipment or general support
Full time position that will report in person. No remote work. Travel as needed.
