API Inspectors

InterSpec, LLC is a small service-disabled veteran-owned company established in 2001 with our primary focus on bulk storage systems such as storage tanks, piping systems, pressure vessels, etc. for assisting owners in meeting integrity compliance for federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  We primarily perform API-653 inspections along with API-570 and API-510. We perform about 25% commercial work and about 75% government work, but do not do work at refinery shut-downs.  Most of our jobs run about one week with some running two weeks.  All lodging and transportation is provided and per diem is paid for food and incidents at a daily rate of $40 and according to government JTR rates.  A passport would be required since some of our work is overseas—mostly Korea and Japan—with work lasting from several weeks to a couple of months.  Our inspection crews working on government jobs usually leave on Sunday and work until Thursday, while our commercial jobs usually work Monday through Friday.  Reports are written by the inspectors with assistance on CAD drawings and review for finalization prior to the inspector’s signature.
