Role Description:

The Dimensional / QC Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Carrollton, TX (North of Dallas).

This role is responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections on components and materials to ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality procedures.

Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents, using measurement tools and inspection equipment, documenting inspection results, and reporting nonconformances.

The Dimensional / QC Inspector collaborates with project teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues, supports continuous improvement efforts, and maintains organized, accurate records of inspections and quality activities.

Qualifications:

Quality Control and Inspection skills, including experience conducting dimensional checks, visual inspections, and verifying compliance with specifications.

Quality Assurance and Quality Management skills, such as understanding of QA procedures, documentation practices, and adherence to industry standards.

Strong Communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings, prepare reports, and collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and reading engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Prior experience in inspection or quality roles within manufacturing, fabrication, chemical, refining, pulp/paper, energy, or related industrial environments is preferred.

Experience and/or education in NDT or certifications in MT, PT, UT and VT are preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or relevant certifications in inspection or quality disciplines are beneficial.

Ability to work on-site in Carrollton, TX, follow safety protocols, and perform inspections in industrial settings.

$28/hr (negotiable based on experience)

Requirements:

Current Driver’s license
Current Level II Certifications in MT, PT, and VT
Documented classroom training hours (REQUIRED)
Documented OJT hours (REQUIRED)
1 year experience of Dimensional Inspection experience within a fabrication or laboratory environment.
Ability to pass a stringent background screen and drug test.

Local to Carrollton, TX (North of Dallas).  No Per Diem.
