NAS-410 Level II
Reporting to the NDT Manager, you are an essential member of the Mistras AZ NDT Team, providing high quality integral inspections on components and assemblies that influence public safety and the future of Aerospace and Defense systems.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Certified or certifiable to NAS-410 PT Level II
Set up and calibrate equipment as needed, including daily system checks.
Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
Interpret, evaluate and document results.
Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer.
Work with minimal supervision.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Obtain and analyze information skillfully.
Edit and present numerical data effectively (Inspection Logs)
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior NAS-410 experience in Liquid Penetrant inspection utilizing stationary penetrant systems including Method A (Water Washable), Method D (Post-emulsifiable Hydrophilic)
· Prior NAS-410 experience in Magnetic Particle Inspection utilizing a multi-directional or Uni-directional Bench.
· Ability to work in face paced environment
· Ability to meet expectations and deadlines given by Team Lead and Management
· Ability to work within a small TEAM dynamic

Frequent Lifting up t o 30lbs
