Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Level II Phased Array Ultrasonic Technician (PAUT) located in Pittsburgh, PA. The PAUT will be responsible for conducting equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintenance and repair tasks associated with the job. Weekend availability and travel is required.
QualificationsExperience conducting equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance
Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance & repair
Ability to interpret and evaluate data, calculations and results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree in NDT preferred
ASNT Level II certification in PAUT or equivalent
Experience in the utility, oil, gas, chemical, refining, food processing, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, agricultural, or power industries is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 yrs. experience as a certified Level II in Phased Array Ultrasonics.
Certifiable to PAUT Level II in accordance with SNT-TC-1A.
Familiarity with PAUT equipment and associated software. (OMNI X3/X2. Omni PC, Beam Tool, WeldSight)
Practical understanding of ASME, API, and AWS codes.
